A 37-year-old woman was arrested in Alexandria (Imathia) and accused of extorting money from a 52-year-old man, according to Greek law enforcement officials.
According to police, this person, allegedly fraudulently, took possession of the sum of 7,000 euros, having received it from a man, as she introduced herself as a “stockbroker”. For four months, the lady promised a gullible local resident that she would “make an investment and increase the amount,” but she never returned anything.
The investigation showed that the woman robbed the victim for a total of 6,900 euros. As it turned out, in the past, she has already attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies for similar crimes and fraud.
