Thessaloniki: PAOK fans chased policemen with truncheons

The celebration of the victory of the PAOK team in the Greek Cup was quite stormy. In addition to broken windows and shop windows, the Thessaloniki football ultras chased police officers with batons and damaged the Security Officers’ Club. According to the local newspaper thestival.gr., a group of 30 people, holding bats in their hands, attacked 4 police officers who were in front of the Officers’ Club on Ethnikis Aminis Street to observe the people who were celebrating the victory of PAOK. Rampant fans rushed in a crowd to the police, who got scared and fled to the club building. Disappointed young people broke the windows at the entrance to the building. The Thessaloniki Sports Facility Anti-Violence Unit has filed a case against unidentified individuals in connection with the incident. The video, published on the official PAOK channel, shows the extent of the joy from the victory of your favorite team. Presentation of the Greek Cup
