On Wednesday afternoon, April 14, EKAV services were replenished with two new aircraft and helicopters. These are Beechcraft King Air 350, which arrived in Greece from North Dakota (USA) and were purchased by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, after which they were donated to the state.
Earlier, on March 3, 2021, two Augusta Westland 109 Trekker helicopters were also received as part of an ISN donation.

I could not call the number 112 – I did not catch the network (there was no telephone signal). I barely climbed upstairs to call and call for help, ”he continued, explaining that he got up barefoot and with broken ribs, overcoming the pain. “Korina was conscious, we talked to her until about 10:30 – 11:00. I would like to die in her place, ”he said.
As it became known, the driver of the car called 166 at 5:52. “I said that I needed air transport and dropped the geolocation data,” the man said, noting that he immediately called a doctor, who, according to him, arrived at the scene in 10-12 minutes. However, “a doctor is a doctor, not a climber,” he emphasized and noted how difficult it was for a physician to descend from a cliff to provide first aid to the victim.
