Another complaint has been made public about the brutal beating of a citizen by the police concerning the events that took place on March 9 in the capital’s Nea Smirni district.
The victim of the attack reportedly provided the police with video footage of her being beaten by a police officer from the ΔΡΑΣ группы group. This is new material, which, according to the information of the MEGA channel, is not among the already available and published earlier.
He appeared during the investigation of the incident involving the beating of another young man in Nea Smyrni. The incident was confirmed by the guy’s girlfriend, who was at that moment next to him. The girl said that she was also attacked by the police, beaten and insulted.
The young lady presented video footage showing how the policeman kicks and punches her, and also grabs her by the hair. The police are examining the materials provided, adding them to the case. Now even more law enforcement officials are accused of illegal actions.

Literally 20 minutes after the start of the protest march, several dozen anarchists joined the protesters. The young people did not come empty-handed – they stocked up on metal rods, bottles with “Molotov cocktails”, stones, which were put into use some time later. The police immediately reacted with tear gas grenades and stun rockets. A water cannon “Ayantas” was used at the scene of the collision.
During the incidents, dozens of people were injured, including three police officers. One suffered a head injury when protesters dragged him off his motorcycle and severely beat him. The wounded was picked up by an ambulance, which took him to the 401st military hospital.
