An area of low atmospheric pressure in the southeastern Aegean is expected to affect the country’s weather on Wednesday 31 March and Thursday 1 April.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the east and south of mainland Greece, as well as in the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese islands. Bad weather will show itself “in all its glory”, according to meteorological data from the National Observatory of Athens.
Snow will fall on Wednesday in the Sterea mountains of Hellas, Evia and the Northern Peloponnese. From Wednesday evening, March 31, intense weather will prevail in Crete, with an upward trend during Thursday.
Two days of bad weather will be accompanied by a stormy wind.
