In Aliveri, Evia, a 15-year-old was seriously injured by a 21-year-old black belt in martial arts. The minor is in the Main Hospital of Chalkida.
Events developed rapidly, although at the beginning nothing foreshadowed a tragedy. The teenager with friends was in Karavos at about 23:00 on Monday. For some unknown reason, he was attacked by a resident of the same area. First, he kicked the boy in the chest, and then with force threw him to the ground. During the fall, the teenager received serious head injuries from hitting the sidewalk, but the offender ignored his condition and retreated from the scene of the incident. According to data from the site eviathema.gr, the guy has a black belt in martial arts.
Friends of the victim immediately reported the incident to his parents. The boy with severe head injuries was taken to a polyclinic and then to the main hospital in Chalkida, where he was treated until Tuesday morning. The victim’s parents filed a complaint with the Aliveri police. Investigation of the incident has begun.
