Three members of the gang, who for a long time committed theft in shops located in Attica, were arrested.
After the relevant decision of the Athens Prosecutor’s Office, identity documents and photographs of three gang members were made public.
As it turned out during the investigation, the defendants, traveling on a motorcycle, arrived at shops or offices located on the basement floor. One of the criminals remained outside the store in standby mode, providing a safe and immediate escape from the scene of the theft.
Another criminal entered a store or office under the pretext of distributing leaflets. He placed a stack of advertising brochures on cell phones or other expensive electronic devices lying on the counter (or reception), which he subsequently masterfully stole.
The investigation revealed 11 cases of theft and one attempted robbery. All three of those arrested are from Albania.
