Greece will transfer “usable” ammunition to Ukraine from army reserves. The shells are expected to be sold through the Czech Republic for 150 million euros.
Parliamentary approval is now awaited. reports April 1 edition of iEidiseis:
“The government is preparing to send large quantities of ammunition to Ukraine via the Czech Republic and is seeking approval from the relevant parliamentary committee.”
Having assessed the shells as suitable for use, the military noted that among those put up for sale there were also those that had still been used in exercises.
It was previously reported that, as part of the Czech initiative, Ukraine will receive not 800 thousand ammunition, as previously planned, but a million.
