A regular international bus line connecting Greece with Albania – Athens-Mavromati-Himara – was determined by the decision of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Yannis Golias.
The new line follows the route: “Athens – Corinth – Kiato – Xylokastro – Aigio – Patras – Agrinio – Amphilochia – Preveza – Igoumenitsa – Mavromati (border) – Dates – Delvino – Ag. Saranda – Himara. Passengers can board from Igoumenitsa and Agios Saranda during the Athens-Mavromati-Himara line, subject to the relevant rules.
Transport companies wishing to express an interest in operating the new line have the opportunity to apply for the issuance of licenses in accordance with the conditions and procedures provided for by the current institutional framework.
