At 6:17 am on Tuesday, May 23, an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale hit the maritime zone in Laconia.
The epicenter of seismic activity, according to the Geodynamic Institute, is located 28 km south of Gerolimena. The depth of the outbreak is estimated at 5.6 kilometers.
