It seems that Greece is vainly counting on tourists from England – the British authorities are seriously considering extending the ban on the travel of their citizens abroad until August, informs the Sunday Times.
The British government, as reported by RIA Novosti, was going to announce in 2 weeks, on April 12, the date of the resumption of trips abroad. Sources said that this long-awaited day was to be May 17th. However, plans, as is often the case during a pandemic, have changed. The authorities believe the time has not yet come for foreign travel. And even to receive tourists and their citizens who have returned from abroad, it is planned in a new way, with significant restrictions.
All countries whose citizens want to visit foggy Albion will be divided into groups in accordance with the epidemiological situation in them. They will be marked with symbolic colored markers in green, yellow and red. Citizens from green states and British citizens who visit them will be able to avoid quarantine upon arrival in the UK. Yellow means self-isolation at home, and red means a 2-week quarantine at an airport hotel, and at your own expense. It will be possible to leave quarantine only after passing at least two negative tests for coronavirus.
