"Oh, I’ll ride!": Greek hearse BMW M5

A video and photo with a Greek hearse that runs through the streets of Attica has become popular all over the world.

More and more automotive media around the world “place” on their pages a cool video with converted into a hearse “Greek” BMW M5. This special and very impressive hearse was captured by Stelios Triantalidis. Judging by the photographs appearing in many international media, the transformation of the M5 E60 into a hearse looks very elegant: the body has undergone significant changes – from the B-pillar to the rear, converted into a van without doors (station wagon).

The taillights of the car “speak” that the M5 hearse is based on the “Bavarian sedan” model, since the station wagon version had a different design and large surround headlights. In addition, contrary to the usual body design for this category of vehicles, all glass tinted to such an extent that they could be classified as illegal, in accordance with the legislation in force in our country.

However, the question on the minds of the international community of four-wheelers and beyond is whether is the hearse in question a model based on the original M5.

However, all the details of the car body, such as: front fenders, bumper and rims, as well as twin exhaust pipes, show that under the hood is a powerful 50-liter S85B engine with 507 horsepower.

With a similar “fiery engine”, the fourth-generation M5 sedan accelerated from standstill to 100 km / h in 4.7 seconds, and its final speed, according to official data, reached 250 km / h, electronically limited. It is worth noting that this is not the first BMW hearse to see the light of day. However, he is recognized one of the fastest in the world. Although, it would seem, where is he in a hurry …
