Ryanair, carrying 160 passengers, was forced to land at Berlin airport after a bomb warning.
The airliner flew from Dublin to Krakow. According to the German Bild, cited by AMPE, the bomb warning turned out to be false. The plane made an emergency landing at 20:08 at the airport Berlin-Brandenburg, in the south of the capital of Germany. After investigation, all passengers continued their flight to their destination. A police spokesman said:
“The security measures were taken by the police, no danger was identified. The passengers were able to continue their journey to Poland on another plane. “
After landing, the plane was surrounded by firefighters and police vehicles. The passengers’ luggage was checked by cynologists with dogs. A spokesman for the Yan Haq airport said: “The Ryanair plane requested an emergency landing and was immediately allowed to do so.”
