An unprecedented mistake by NATO soldiers occurred during an exercise in Bulgaria – they mistakenly invaded a civilian facility.
Armed American soldiers stormed a civilian production facility near the village of Chesnegirovo, although the US Embassy has already apologized. Marine Dimitrov, the owner of the facility, is just as shocked as his employees. He told Radio Plovdiv reporters:
“My workers are still terrified. We will seek justice legally. “
The Deputy Defense Minister, meanwhile, noted that there was no violence against the workers. CCTV cameras recorded how seven armed soldiers, part of a military formation, inspect the premises in order to “secure” the facility. After that, just as silently as they had come, they left him.
All this happened on May 11, the Department of Defense is investigating an unusual incident.
