A 47-year-old man, arrested in Stavroupoli, Thessaloniki, was reportedly detained and held in a bullpen after testifying in court. He is accused of raping his underage stepdaughter for two years.
According to APE-MPE, the detainee denied in every possible way the charges brought against him, claiming that “there was nothing” between them. As for the erotic messages that he allegedly sent to the girl on a mobile phone, the accused said that “she herself took his phone and wrote them in order to set up”.
However, the man’s allegations did not convince investigators and prosecutors, and he was unanimously sentenced to temporary imprisonment.
