Child allowance: who is unlucky with an additional payment for Easter

On the sidelines of payments to vulnerable citizens by Easter were families with one parent, families with one child and low incomes.

These categories, despite their very low incomes, will receive only 105 euros as child allowance until Easter. Families with three or more children “won” as they receive 420 euros.

In particular, based on the aid package announced by the government, an additional (one and a half) payment of child benefit will be provided to recipients for March and half of April. dikaiologitika.gr.

The amount of assistance is 105, 63 or 42 euros for each child (for the first and second minor), depending on the amount of income. Or 210, 126 or 84 euros for the third and each subsequent child. The beneficiaries are 625,000 people, including more than 1 million children, and the budget is estimated at 97.5 million euros.

For category A:

• 70 euros per month for the first dependent child,
• additional 70 euros per month for a second dependent child,
• an additional €140 per month for the third and each subsequent dependent child.

For category B:

• 42 euros per month for the first dependent child,
• additional 42 euros per month for a second dependent child,
• an additional €84 per month for the third and each subsequent dependent child.

For category C:

• 28 euros per month for the first dependent child,
• additional 28 euros per month for a second dependent child,
• an additional €56 per month for the third and each subsequent dependent child.
