A pulmonologist was the victim of an attack in a tavern for asking for a certificate check.

Pulmonology professor Theodoros Vasilakopoulos complained that he was attacked by the owner of the tavern and his son, because he asked them to check the vaccination certificate from the visitors.

“I was threatened that they would find me in the hospital where I work” …

As the professor mentioned in his televised speech, he was at a conference in the province, where he and his colleagues went to eat at a tavern. “After we had eaten, we very politely asked the owner to check the vaccination certificates with the visitors,” Theodoros Vasilakopoulos said in an interview with Mega TV and stated that they had not carried out any checks up to this point.

“They kicked us out of the tavern after being insulted, beaten, tore our shirt and thrown to the ground. Then they threatened that they would find me in the hospital where I work in Athens and burn my car, ”added the professor of medicine.

When asked who attacked him, Theodoros Vasilakopoulos said that they were the innkeeper and his son. According to the professor, he called the police. When the patrol cars arrived, they recorded the incident, after which lawsuits were filed, and the case followed the path of justice.
