Coronovirus: new government decree

From Monday, October 25, the observance of a distance of one and a half meters between people (one person per 2 sq. large area and indicates how many people can be in the room at the same time.

This is provided for in the decision published in the Government Gazette (Εφημερίδα της Κυβέρνησης (Αρ. Φύλλου 4919 / 24-10-21), and applies to measures in force from today, Monday 25 October 2021 from 06:00 to Monday 8 November 2021 06:00.

According to the decision, the following measures are applied to all types of activities:

Use of a protective mask (instructions for use, circular Δ1α / Γ.Π.17917 / 22.3.2021 of the Ministry of Health posted on the website):

a) in all premises, including workplaces, except for those where only 1 person is constantly located,

b) in the presence of other people,

c) in all open areas where there is a congestion of people, unless otherwise specified in a specific protocol.

Excluded from the obligation to use a mask:

a) persons for whom the use of a mask is not indicated for medical indications, confirmed by appropriate documents, for example, due to respiratory diseases,

b) children under 4 years of age.

The presence of sanitizers (use of a hand sanitizer containing more than 70% alcohol solution).

Obligation to post in a document or digitally in a conspicuous place the rules for the operation of shops and businesses, including the maximum number of people who are allowed to be inside the space.

Ventilation of premises in a natural or artificial way (provision of the law Δ1 (δ) / ΓΠ.οικ.26335 / 23.4.2020 και Δ1 / ΓΠ.οικ.81816 / 18.12.2020 εγκυκλίων του Υπουργείου Υγείας).

In addition, the joint decision of the ministers cancels from today the optional extended opening hours, which were in effect for supermarkets from 7:00 to 21:30, and for commercial enterprises – from 7:00 to 21:00.
