New measures: visits to hairdressers and beauty salons

The authorities are appealing to clients of hairdressing and manicure and pedicure salons with an explanation that, in connection with the change in measures to combat the coronavirus, this will change.

According to the “Government Bulletin”, in addition to changes in the sanitary protocol concerning supermarkets and retail trade, the limit has changed in hairdressing salons and manicure and pedicure salons, dropping to 1 person per 2 sq. M. from 6 people to 100 sq.m. previously. Changes in measures against coronavirus were introduced by a new decision, published yesterday in the Official Gazette.

According to the resolution, it is allowed:
The activities of hairdressing salons, beauty salons and similar enterprises such as: appointments with a nutritionist, bath services (hammam, etc.), therapeutic baths and spa treatments, massage services, personal hygiene and body care, tattoo parlors and piercings are carried out subject to the following conditions:

Clients are not allowed to wait in line in the hall if they are not fully vaccinated or have not suffered an illness. Including in salons that provide services for manicure, pedicure, foot care, etc.

As for the functioning of hairdressing salons, manicure and pedicure salons, the presence of a record, compliance with the presence of a certain number of people per square meter, wearing a mask, and other measures of the sanitary protocol remain the same.

Tattoo parlors and piercing services are opening.

Let us remind that, according to the previous decision, there was a limitation: 6 people up to 100 sq. M and 1 person for every additional 16 sq. M.
