Easter is quickly approaching and the chambers of commerce and industry have already officially announced holiday opening hours for stores, including on Sunday.
As every year, on Palm Sunday, April 28, stores will remain open and consumers will have an extra day to shop. Then after Holy Week we will have three days with shops closed: on Easter Sunday, Easter Monday and Tuesday, due to the postponement of May Day.
Here is the schedule proposed by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
- Thursday, April 25, 2024: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Friday, April 26, 2024: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, April 27, 2024: 9:00-17:00
- Sunday, April 28, 2024: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Monday, April 29, 2024: 9:00-21:00
- Tuesday, April 30, 2024: 9:00-21:00.
- Wednesday, 05/01/2024: 9:00-21:00
- Thursday, 05/02/2024: 9:00-21:00.
- Friday, 05/03/2024: 13:00-19:00
- Saturday, 05/04/2024: 9:00-15:00
- Easter 05/05/2024: holiday, closed
- Monday, 05/06/2024: holiday, closed
- Tuesday, 05/07/2024: holiday, closed.
