ENFIA: Find out when the refund deadline is for those who want a full tax refund

Return deadline tomorrow, Friday (4/19) ENFIA by taxpayers who want to receive the full tax refund to which they are entitled.

Tax service for about ten years now “freezes” the offset of tax refunds to pay off tax debts to the stateto enable interested parties to repay ENFIA to be able to receive the full amount of the outstanding refund. Recipients can receive their money immediately if they pay their property taxes this year:

• Today 18/4 when paying via web banking or
• Tomorrow 4/19 when paying through the myAADE digital portal and myAADE app.

Please note that owners mayAccess ENFIA tax returns through the myAADE digital portal by following the route: “Εφαρμογές > Δημοφιλείς Εφαρμογές > Δήλωση Ε9/ΕΝΦΙΑ > Είσοδος στην εφαρμογή”, επιλέγοντας Έτος 2024. Proceed to pay the relevant debt through:

• Digital portal myAADE, along the way: Ο Λογαριασμός μου (Οφειλές, Πληρωμές, Επιστροφές) > Οφειλές εκτό ς Ρύθμισης και Πληρωμή, or
• The new AADE application for mobile devices of MyaadeApp in the section: ο λογαριασμός μου (οφειλές, πληρωμές, επιστροφές) οφειλές, πληρωμις> ρ μ θ roy οφειλώey> Επόμενο> επιλογή τρόπου πληρωμής (μέσω με κάρτα)> the aggregate type of individual unregulated discoveries.

This year, ENFIA is payable in 11 monthly installments, the first of which is due by the end of April and the last in February 2025. In the case of a one-time payment, no discount is provided and each monthly payment cannot be less than 10 euros. However, there is also the possibility of paying tax on up to 24 percent of the monthly payments, including the debt under the fixed agreement.

It is worth noting that recourse to the Independent Authority for State Revenue (AADE) to correct errors in E9 is also available to property owners. Property owners can file corrective returns if they discover errors or omissions in matters of fractional ownership or usufruct, percentage of co-ownership, or even the floor of the property, which could result in an increase in ENFIA. Once an amended return is filed, a new ENFIA audit will be conducted which will override the original one.
