Assistance to Israel and Ukraine – statements were made about reaching a consensus

Democrat Chuck Schumer, the majority leader in the US Senate, announced that consensus had been reached on assistance to Ukraine and Israel.

According to him, the corresponding agreements were reached during a telephone conversation between President Joe Biden and congressional leaders on Sunday, which must act quickly to send aid to both countries. At a press conference in New York, Schumer expressed hope that something could be done this week to help both countries. writes ABC News.

The Senate Majority Leader noted that the best way to direct aid to Israel and Ukraine is for the House to pass a Senate-passed supplemental national security bill that includes $95 billion in aid for both countries in February:

“The best way to help Israel rebuild its missile defense and counter-drone defenses is to immediately pass this amendment. As I said, Israel has spent close to a billion dollars on its defense, and the security law amendment will supplement those missile defense and counter-drone capabilities that found in the Arrow system, David's Sling system, and Iron Dome.
