The Greeks are preparing for the end of the world: who are they? "preppers"

They build shelters, stock up on food, medicine and prepare to survive in any adversity.

They call themselves “preppers” and claim to have prepared for all possible disasters and threats, including the “end of the world.” According to them, they have been trained, know how to survive in nature, they have shelters, supplies of food and medicine.

The Greek “preppers” were greeted on Thursday evening, 11/4, by Antonis Schreuter and the camera of the “Autopsy” program.

They build shelters, stock up on food, medicine, weapons and tools, and prepare to survive in any conditions.

“This is a philosophy of prevention – to prepare for anything that can happen. But survival is a completely different matter. Everyone believes that nothing will happen to them,” the preppers note. “But we must explain that the prepper is not just a person, following a conspiracy theory, something vague. Prepper is anyone who is preparing to live in a different situation, like the military, like athletes.”

A man from Heraklion on Crete showed reporters his house, which, according to him, is ready for any disaster. “For 30 years, my home has been energy self-sufficient. People know I'm prepared because I post this information from time to time. They just think it's extreme to be well prepared for something even if it doesn't happen. I ready for a nuclear disaster. My whole house is prepared for it. Especially the basement. When millions are invested in some kind of weapon, it will be used.” – he noted.

A man living in Heraklion, according to him, lined his house with iron. “It can even withstand a rocket, – he said. – If you do everything yourself, it costs nothing. Everything is shielded, and no radiation gets into the house.”

The man then shows the camera the shelter he created, which he says he can live in for up to two years. In addition to food, the basement contains medicine, gauze, blankets and even… a shotgun with several cartridges. The important thing is a radiation meter to know when to go out.

“Has anyone thought about what would happen if a comet passed a little closer to Earth and cut off the power in Athens for 15 days? I'm telling you what happens often. Chaos will ensue… No one prepared for this.” The reserve commando, who appears to be fully equipped, says that World War III has already begun, but people don't know about it. The most extreme scenario is the case of war. We are already in a third world war. Those who do not know this are blinded by their own ignorance. When drones start falling, you must be calm.” – he emphasizes.

In Makrakomi Phthiotida, the former soldier also created his own shelter to survive. He says he has supplies for six months. “We tried all the dog foods to see which was best,” he says, among other things. He explained that he invested in a good sleeping bag, good shoes and socks, and even prepared his car for disaster!
