Millions of people around the world watched the total eclipse of the Sun

Residents of some islands in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, as well as the United States, Mexico and Canada, observed a total eclipse of the Sun.

The first to see a unique phenomenon were in the Mexican city of Mazatlan. The Moon completely covered the Sun and the sky darkened for 4 minutes. The next total eclipse will take place on August 12, 2026 and will cover large areas of the Northern Hemisphere.
