The counting of votes from overseas voters continues. According to the current results, Putin is gaining 69.9% abroad, Davankov – 18.7%, 7.5% of ballots were declared invalid – many voters did not agree with the selection of candidates.
The New People candidate for the post of Russian President Vladislav Davankov won polling stations in several European cities and in Israel. According to the Russian Central Election Commission, Davankov beat Putin in The Hague, Vilnius, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Zagreb, Madrid and Barcelona, Jerusalem and Haifa, as well as Podgoricawhere there were more invalid ballots than for Putin (he has 8.4% there).
Putin was elected Riga, Tallinn, Sofia, Chisinau, Rome and Athens. The incumbent president won in polling stations in Phuket, Seoul, Baku and Bishkek. Davankov takes second place there, but often with a large gap from Putin, writes “Radio Liberty” in Telegram.
The counting continues. For voting abroad, polling stations were opened at Russian embassies in 144 countries and self-proclaimed republics. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, 372 thousand people voted abroad – “unprecedented numbers.”
