What’s wrong with our diet? In the 70s, people ate more sugar and red meat, and today they are obese

If you look closely at visual materials depicting people in the 1960s and 1970s and compare them with videos today, you will notice significant and alarming differences.

Modern people are obese, move with great difficulty, and look sickly (often very, very old). This is especially noticeable in videos depicting everyday life in the United States (and of course, this is not the “glamorized” life that is shown in Hollywood films). In the 70s, everyone seems to be the right weight and look healthy. Apparently something has “ruined” our metabolism…

In earlier times, everyone was in much better physical shape, while in many Western countries they consumed much more food than today. People exercised less than they do today (there weren’t as many gyms and there wasn’t a tendency to exercise at a time when almost everyone wore suits) and smoked. And yet they looked better!

The number of obese people has increased five times compared to what it was then! Something seems to be poisoning the human body, and no one knows what it is. Many blame carbohydrates, red meat and oil. But previous generations ate more of these foods than we did.

Our grandparents’ generation consumed 100 grams of sugar daily, four times the amount of butter, processed grains, eggs and bread! And yet in the United States in the 1970s, obese people were 1% of the total population, and today they are 40%…

Many people complain that the food they consume nowadays seems to lack nutrients and vitamins, so they are forced to buy supplements from pharmacies when they feel weak and unwell.

The most nutritionally important parts of animals that our ancestors considered necessary for proper and healthy husbandry are completely absent from today’s diets, leaving modern Western man obese and almost deformed in appearance.

In ancient times, when hunters killed an animal to feed themselves, they always cooked the liver, organs and collagen fibers first, sometimes leaving the muscle meat behind. Today, modern man simply goes to the butcher shop and buys a cut steak, without the other parts of the animal that our ancestors valued.

Given the facts and what is happening, it is clear that something is wrong with our diet. This is a serious problem because without food a person cannot live and function effectively. Even the brain needs proper nutrition, because it is from this that it draws energy.
