A police report filed by the mother of a 15-year-old girl unraveled the tangle of a case of pimping minors, in which “Lorela” and a 33-year-old “photographer” were taken into custody.
In a conversation with Mega, the lawyer of the mother of the victim involved in prostitution, Georgios Kaniaris, said that the woman noticed a change in her daughter’s behavior and “large sums appeared at her disposal.”
“It takes courage to file a complaint… The teenager’s mother faced condemnation from others. She is a heroic mother because, in addition to her child, she wanted to save other children, he said. “She saw changes in behavior, expensive things and money appeared in the house. “Where?” was her question.”
According to him, when the mother saw that her daughter was living “in grand style”, and the family usually saved money, she began to understand that something was happening.
“Laurela” and the “photographer” in prison
31-year-old “Lorela”, who allegedly “fished” for minors, and the photographer were taken into custody after their confession. The man allegedly contacted her 15-year-old and 17-year-old friend, inviting them to find wealthy “clients” for paid sex.
At the same time, it was he who photographed minors in their underwear and posted their photos on a “pink” website (through which at least 10 meetings were arranged at a hotel in the center of Athens).
The pimp denied all charges. During her testimony, she claimed that she “did not force girls into prostitution” and when she suspected that something was happening to a girl she knew from the beauty salon she ran, she tried to convince her to stop doing it.
Both the two detainees and the 55-year-old “client” who was released on parole said that they believed their partners were 20-year-old girls (they did not imagine that they were minors).

As part of the police operation, three people were arrested in different areas of Attica on the basis of relevant warrants for their involvement in a case of sexual exploitation of minors. This is a 31-year-old woman and two men aged 33 and 55, and 6 other people are involved in the case. Three arrests were reportedly made in Kolonos, Korydallos and Ekali. Two more days later, two more were arrested – 26 year old pimp and 64 year old client.

As for the man, between July and August 2023, he had sexual intercourse in his home with the first minor and another minor for monetary compensation, while during the same period and earlier he committed similar acts with these girls both jointly, and so with each of them separately.
