The schoolgirl has an episode "brain death" during the excursion

A 17-year-old student went into allergic shock and began having seizures after eating what appeared to be a portion of butter during a five-day school trip to Crete.

The student lost consciousness at the hotel where the schoolchildren were staying for the duration of the trip. She was later transferred to the intensive care unit of the Venizelio Hospital, and doctors assessed her condition as extremely serious. The girl suffered “brain death,” and this, according to doctors, is irreversible.

As Anestis Kiulpalis, director of the hospital’s intensive care unit, confirmed today in an interview with Radio Crete and ekriti.gr, the schoolgirl underwent specialized diagnostics so that doctors could determine the function of her brain activity.

Alas, according to all data, the girl’s brain “died.” All these days, parents, doctors, teachers and classmates who were nearby during the trip with the girl sincerely expected a miracle. However, as analyzes have shown, the situation is irreversible.
