Two hooded men robbed two sisters in Phthiotis when they stopped to visit a highway latrine.
The robbery took place at about 17:00 on Saturday December 30, near Stylida, on the 221st km of the Athens-Thessaloniki highway. According to lamiareport.gr, two sisters on their way to Thessaloniki stopped to go to the toilet in a parking lot. When the women left the toilet, they were attacked by two young men in hoods. The attackers tore a gold cross from the neck of one of the sisters, and robbed another of her bag, which, among other things, contained €150.
Having carried out the attack, the criminals fled into an olive grove, where they probably hid a motorcycle or car in order to quickly escape from the crime scene. The Phthiotida Police Department has launched a manhunt for the robbers.
