Store opening hours during the Christmas and New Year holidays

Stores will be open with extended opening hours from Tuesday 12 December 2023.

Holiday opening hours for Christmas Day have been announced. A festive mood reigns at the trade market. In December, stores will be open on a total of three Sundays. The Athens Chamber of Commerce has provided suggested store opening hours, however opening hours for department stores, shopping centers and supermarkets are expected to vary.

Supermarket holiday opening hours:

On weekdays, supermarkets will follow the specified schedule, but when it comes to opening on Sunday, things are completely different. According to the announcement, on Sunday, December 17 supermarkets will be open in the following way:

• Sklavenitis: Closed.
• Masutis: closed.
• A.B. Vasilopoulos: Open (most from 11:00 to 19:00).
• Lidl: Open. Opening hours: 11:00-18:00.

Opening hours for the Christmas holidays 2023: opening hours of shopping centers, Golden Hall, etc.

For now, the Mall and Golden Hall shopping centers will remain open as usual until 20:00.

• Avenue. Open 17/12 from 11:00-20:00.
• ΙΚΕΑ. Open until 20:00.
• McArthurGlen. Open from 10:00 to 21:00.
• Attica. Open, opening hours 11:00-20:00.
