New epidemic? In China, children are suffering from pneumonia en masse, WHO is concerned

There are long queues in Chinese hospitals, and an outbreak of pneumonia has been recorded among children – without a cough, but with a high temperature and nodules in the lungs.

Children’s hospitals across the country, including in the capital, are overcrowded. In emergency departments, children with fevers face waits of two or more hours to be seen.
