Video: robbing a gas station with a pistol and… a sledgehammer

A petrol station employee in Aspropyrgos had a very stressful and nightmarish night on duty after he was the victim of an armed robbery.

It all happened on Monday (11/20) at 2:15 a.m. when the attackers arrived on the scene and began implementing their well-thought-out plan.

The two criminals, having put on hoods that concealed their facial features and removed the license plates from the silver car in which they arrived at the gas station, so as not to leave traces that could give away their identity, stopped at a gas station located at the 17th kilometer of Athens-Corinthos.

After getting out of the car and holding a sledgehammer and a pistol, they approached the 24-year-old gas station worker and began to threaten him. As captured in the video footage released by the SKY channel, the criminals got out of the car and forcibly drove him into the store under the threat of using a pistol and a sledgehammer. According to the victim, he was forced to give the alarm code and hand over the keys to the safe. As a result, the bandits left with a “boot” of 26 thousand euros.

The employee is in good health and even gave a description of the criminals wanted by the police. Moreover, as he noted, both spoke fluent Greek. Greek police are continuing their investigation to identify and arrest the criminals.
