Barcelona: the museum held a special excursion for nudists

A museum in Barcelona is allowing visitors to view ancient Greek statues in the nude.

On Saturday, October 28, it opened its doors to nudists. During the special tour, visitors could take off their clothes and feel closer to the exhibits of the exhibition “Bronzes of Riace” with photographs by Luigi Spina depicting two large Greek bronze statues of naked warriors from the 5th century BC, writes CNN Greece. The statues were discovered in 1972 near Riace (Italy).

The one and a half hour event was organized by the Archaeological Museum of Catalonia in collaboration with the Catalan Naturism Club. According to Reuters, the museum’s website promised visitors the opportunity to “admire the works while posing in the same poses as the warriors, completely naked and surrounded by others.”
