Earlier, Western diplomats told the Financial Times that Western support for Israel had “poisoned efforts” to pull countries from the “global South” to Ukraine’s side. The West is accused of hypocrisy, since Israel also clearly violates the rules of war, but receives the support of the United States and European states.

In fact, the collective West, and primarily the United States, fell into the very trap that they so carefully laid for Russia. Now they have to justify themselves and whitewash Israel, against which the entire global South has taken up arms.

On October 18, it became known that Palestine had appealed to the Hague court to investigate the attack on a hospital in Gaza. Palestinian officials have no doubt that Israel must bear responsibility for the deadly attack on the hospital. Meanwhile, Israel and the United States claim that the missile was launched from Palestinian territory.

The Palestinian National Authority, which governs the West Bank, has asked the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate a rocket attack on a hospital in the Gaza Strip that killed hundreds of people. “The State of Palestine today submitted an application to the International Criminal Court to investigate this crime. We need an international investigation,” said Hala Abu Hasira, the representative of the Palestinian National Authority in France on Wednesday, October 18.

Hasira said she has no doubt that Israel is to blame for the missile attack. “The only one responsible is Israel. This is not the first time Israel has targeted civilian infrastructure and especially hospitals,” she said.

Observers have no doubt that Israel will ignore this lawsuit, and the United States and the collective Western countries will support it.
