An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred at 17:51 on Tuesday October 17 in the Argolis region.

According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter was located 2 km southwest of the village of Didima, the depth of the outbreak was 81.1 km.

It is noted that the initial assessment was made for an earthquake of magnitude 4.5.

There are no reports of destruction or damage to buildings.

Tremors with a large focal depth are usually felt much weaker than surface tremors, and although they spread over larger areas, the damage they cause is several times less than surface tremors of similar power.
