As Ali Hashem reports: “Our group was divided. They went to a place with a view of the area. These were colleagues from Al Jazeera, from Reuters, from AFP. It looked like a tank shell hit them directly. It was terrible. The group was clean, everyone in helmets and protective vests with the inscription “Press”. They were in an open area. It was on a hill, everything was visible. Two of our colleagues are in the hospital. Another of our colleagues, a very good friend, died.”
