"Fun flight" from Ireland to Greece


Drunk tourists from Ireland flying from Manchester to Heraklion made both the crew and passengers nervous.

By message Cretapost, this happened yesterday, October 12, to an Irish family consisting of representatives of three generations – a 55-year-old grandmother and a 24-year-old daughter, who was holding a one-and-a-half-year-old child, were rowdy on the plane.

Having drunk too much before the flight, the women behaved accordingly – they swore and spat, and at some point even hit a passenger. The pilot informed Heraklion airport about what was happening, and as a result the police were mobilized.

After landing at Nikos Kazantzakis airport, two women and a baby walked down the ramp. The young woman, with a child in her arms, rushed to run along the runway. After the policeman stopped her, she… bit him.

Both passengers were arrested and taken to the police station. A case was opened for causing bodily harm, obstructing traffic, and against the mother of the baby, also for endangering a minor. In general, the vacation turned out to be “fun” and memorable…
