The plane of the President of Ukraine was updated and modified

The Lithuanian company J&C Aero has completed work on modernizing the Airbus A319 CJ aircraft of the President of Ukraine.

On the company website it says:

“J&C Aero recently completed a major refurbishment project in which it provided aircraft cabin modification and upgrade services for the state-owned Ukraine Airlines. The company operates the state-owned Airbus A319 Corporate Jet, which is used to transport the President of Ukraine.”

During the project, the company notes, J&C Aero engineers developed design changes necessary to integrate a new in-flight entertainment (IFE) system and upgrade the aircraft’s cabin management system (CMS). Prior to installation, J&C Aero also successfully completed EASA certification for executive cabin modifications to the new STC (#10082618).

The company acted as an intermediary in the supply of the KA-BAND Satcom navigation system and supported its further installation on the aircraft.

During the work, J&C Aero also completed a complete refurbishment of the aircraft’s interior, including fabric coverings, executive seats and sofas, interior trim, carpets and laminate, and other cabin elements manufactured in-house by J&C Aero. The installation and maintenance work was carried out by Magnetic MRO at Tallinn Airport (TLL) in accordance with the maintenance instructions developed by J&C Aero.

The company’s statement does not specify how long the modernization work lasted, but Laurynas Skukauskas, CEO of J&C Aero, called this project one of the most difficult:

“Without a doubt, this was one of our most complex and ambitious projects. Being not only an Airbus corporate jet, but also an aircraft used to transport the head of state, this Airbus A319 required special attention to detail, flexibility in solving problems and, of course, , complete freedom of action. It was a privilege for us to contribute to the renovation of the aircraft. We are grateful to the state airline “Ukraine” for their trust and to our partners from Magnetic MRO for their support in this project. We are also very grateful to our team for their hard work and many sleepless nights “.
