On the island of Lefkada, two men, allegedly of Albanian origin, raped a minor Greek woman, which was officially confirmed by a forensic examination.
As a result of an official investigation, warrants were issued for the arrest of two young foreigners, aged 18 and 21, who lured her to the beach in Lefkada.
The underage girl filed a complaint with the island’s police station on Monday morning and said two foreigners physically assaulted her and forced her to have full sexual intercourse last Friday night.
The minor was examined by a forensic doctor, who confirmed the rape, and the police began a preliminary investigation, during which they identified the perpetrators.
They then reported this to the Lefkada prosecutor, who handed over the materials of the preliminary investigation to the investigator, who issued warrants with accusations of rape by prior conspiracy and sexual acts with a minor. The two young men were arrested on Wednesday afternoon and are in custody pending a guilty plea.
