Cases of violence against minors have taken the form of an “avalanche”. A new incident with an injured 14-year-old child was recorded in Thessaloniki last night, August 30.
A group of seven young people, after a verbal skirmish, attacked a 14-year-old teenager, as a result of which the victim had to be taken to the hospital. His life is out of danger, the doctors took up the treatment.
The incident took place at 22:00 (08.30) on Alki Campanou Street in the Harilaou district, according to the Thessaloniki Police Headquarters. The cause of the attack is still unknown, but police say it is there was no incident of showdown between fans.
The day before yesterday, August 29, there was another armed attack on minors, but already in the center of Athens. At about 20:30, a group of 20 thugs approached two 14-year-olds and, threatening with a knife, took away their mobile phones. An investigation is underway.
