Two injured in a shooting in Ag. Panteleimonas and Menidi


Three shooting incidents were recorded by police on Monday evening, August 28.

The first incident took place around 10:30 pm on Campani Street in the area of ​​Agios Panteleimonas. According to the ERT channel, a 25-year-old Egyptian was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the leg, as well as two shell casings and a cartridge. The victim was picked up by an EKAV ambulance and taken to the CAT hospital. As the victim told the authorities about the incident, two people got out of a car that had slowed down next to him and opened fire on him. The police are investigating to identify the perpetrators.

In the second case, the shooting took place at dawn in Menidi. The man was reportedly found with a head wound and taken to the CAT hospital.

A little earlier, a man was shot dead in a gypsy settlement in Aspropyrgos. According to the first information, the criminal entered the camp of Nea Zoya and shot a 29-year-old boy, as a result of which he died. In retaliation, an angry mob burned down his house immediately after the murder.
