The immediate mobilization of rescuers was carried out by the local authorities of Crete when it became known about the difficult situation that occurred with a tourist from France.
A minor girl was injured while hiking in a gorge in Crete. According to Cretapost, it all happened this morning, August 24, when a 16-year-old French woman was walking with her family in the Imbro Gorge in Sfakia.
It is not yet known under what circumstances the unfortunate girl fell, injuring her head and legs. Firefighters immediately organized a large mobilization: 4 specialized vehicles with 12 rescuers rushed to the scene.
The girl was rescued from the gorge, put on a stretcher and taken to a safe place, where an ambulance was already waiting. After providing first aid to the Frenchwoman, the rescuers took her to the hospital.
