An extremely provocative statement was made by the former leader of the Dynamo Zagreb fan club “Bad Blue Boys”, the hero of Ukraine Denis Scheler: in it he described AEK fans as “meat for goulash”.

Denis Sheler, who was a tough hooligan almost all his life who fought in Ukraine as part of the Azov battalion, in his post on social networks speaks incredibly provocatively towards AEK fans.

The former leader of the Bad Blue Boys calls the fans of the Greek team “Turkish refugees *” and directly threatens that they will become “goulash meat”. And all this in a photo where he is shown with Davorin Karacic, a lawyer who called AEK fans: “human scum and garbage.”

Sheller wrote: “To Turkish refugees and Russian vampires we say: ‘OK, we have plenty of onions, tomatoes, peppers, pepperoni and potatoes, but for good goulash we only need meat.’.

Dennis Scheler fought in the Azov Regiment in Ukraine and in 2018 received the Order of the Hero of Ukraine.

*AEK is a Greek professional football club based in Athens, playing in the Greek Super League. The name of the club is an abbreviation, which in Greek means “Constantinople Athletic Union”. Formed April 13, 1924.

The presence of Constantinople in the name of the club is explained by the fact that AEK was founded by Greek refugees from Asia Minor who were expelled from Turkey after the defeat of Greece in the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922).
