In Costa Rica, a crocodile mauled a 29-year-old football player who decided to refresh himself in the river after training.
The tragic incident occurred in the northwest of Costa Rica, in the city of Santa Cruz. Playing for the local Deportivo Rio Canas, football player Jesus Alberto Lopez Ortiz fell victim to a predator when, after training, he decided to swim in the Canas River flowing through the city. The father of two children was unable to escape from the crocodile, dying from suffocation.
A few minutes after a brutal fight, local residents and police killed the crocodile to take the body of the deceased, informs Marca.
