The 37-year-old motorcyclist was driving to work when a herd of wild boars blocked his path. From surprise, the man hesitated, as a result of which he “crashed” into one of them. The accident happened in Phthiotis.
The traffic accident happened at 8 am on Tuesday, on the Atalanti-Kyparissiou provincial road. According to LamiaReport, the man was driving to work when herd of wild boars jumped into the roadway. The collision was violent, resulting in the driver was thrown several meters into the air and sustained full-body injuries from the fall. Fortunately, he was wearing a helmet and avoided the worst. However, the motorcycle is beyond repair, and the boar died on the spot. The size of the wild boar that cut his path is truly shocking.
The man was taken by EKAB ambulance to the Atalanti Medical Center and from there to Lamia Hospital.
