Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, did not confirm the involvement of the Main Intelligence Directorate in undermining the Nord Streams or in the sensational murders and famous people in Russia.
He stated this in interview The Times, however, did not deny that Ukraine was taking such actions, stating:
“We’re doing it right now. As long as these non-humans exist, we’ll be active. We use direct action. We use and love them. We know how to make them and we’re proud to have used them and we’re not afraid to use them where anything in this world against anyone.”
Earlier, according to Newsweek, Washington tacitly expressed to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky his displeasure at the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines. However, he denies Ukraine’s attitude to the Nord Stream bombing and demands proof. The investigation believes that a certain state is behind the explosion.
