In Thessaloniki, a man threw a bag of jewelry into a trash can, and when he came to his senses, just a few minutes later, a cleaning team had already emptied the container into a garbage truck.

Fortunately, the municipal cleaners have not yet left the area – they were informed about the incident and asked for help in finding an expensive package of gold jewelry.

According to ΑΠΕ, police officers informed about the emergency arrived at the waste transfer station of the municipality of Thessaloniki. In the presence of employees ΕΛΑΣ workers found a valuable package in the garbage unloaded from the car and handed over its unfortunate owner.
