Having problems with movement, 81-year-old Theophilos Tsokhunidis from Nea Flogita (Chalkidiki) again lives on the veranda – the new owner of his house evicted the old man after the auction.
The disabled man lived on the terrace for 56 days, not wanting to leave his house, until on June 30 his lawyer won a temporary ban on the sale of his property during the auction. Having received the keys, Theophilos Tsokhunidis returned to the house, but on Monday, July 3, he was again outside it – the court demanded to postpone the meeting.
A temporary injunction, which the lawyer was able to obtain, cancels the process leading to the auction, and the 81-year-old disabled man received the keys to the house back by court order. However, on Monday, while the trial was pending in the Polygyros Court of First Instance, where a stay of the trial was requested, Mr. Tsokhunidis was evicted from his house and again forced to live on the terrace, writes newsbeast.gr.
