Limeni is a coastal village with stone houses located in Mani. This is one of the most beautiful settlements in the area and worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
Limeni is built at a height of 20 meters and is only 5 kilometers from Areopolis and about 27 kilometers from Gythio. Limeni is characterized by traditional Mani architecture with small houses located just a few steps from the coast.
Dominates among the stone houses Petrobeus Palace (Παλάτι του Πετρόμπεη), which is a “pearl” among the attractions of the area. The local population is very hospitable and ready to feed you “to satiety” with the freshest, home-cooked traditional dishes.
The picturesque taverns in Limen are ideal for tasting fish dishes, sitting comfortably at a table, and admiring the views of nature, the vastness of the sea.
