Ukraine has simplified the procedure for issuing passports

It will be much easier now to issue a passport to Ukrainians who are outside their country.

On June 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a resolution simplifying this procedure, the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories reports. Now the State Migration Service, its territorial bodies, foreign diplomatic institutions will have access to the State Register of Civil Status Acts. The ministry explains:

“These bodies will receive information about the state registration of the birth of an individual and his origin in the form of an extract from this register. The development and maintenance of this document was carried out as part of the work of the Coordination Headquarters on ensuring the departure of citizens of Ukraine from the WTO through the territory of third countries to Ukraine. Adopted today The innovation will allow such Ukrainians to recover their passport documents faster, and it will also optimize the work of state bodies, as the time for processing requests for passports will be significantly reduced.”

The department notes that the adopted resolution will greatly simplify the procedure for issuing passport documents, writes “European Truth”.
